ricklchurch: Very nice addition to my home gym

I m pretty picky when it comes to equipment and nearly all of my gear is top of the line name brand stuff. I bought this bar specifically because tho I have a 490lb low bar back squat I ve always struggled with front squats due to thoracic flexibility. A friend recommended I try using a safety squat bar and based on the reviews here I figured I would give the 1500lb model a try given that it s nearly half the price of an equivalent Rogue bar or other. I received the bar today and did a variety of exercises with it, including front squats turn the bar backwards putting the back pad against your throat , high bar back squats, good mornings, barbell walking lunges, etc and I honestly am really loving this bar. I have zero complaints thus far. It came packaged almost comically too well.. took 6 or 8 minutes to unpack due to fear of cutting into the pads, it has a quite lovely finish, the hand grips are really comfortable for me, the knurling on the bar is perfect if you need to get your hands on the bar rather than the grips. I used my snap on collars rather then the olympic screw downs that came with the bar, but they also appeared to be of more than acceptable quality considering the price of the bar. Delivery within two days.. what else can you ask for
