Using a 15lb technique training bar over a 15kg or 20kg Olympic lifting bar, enables lifters to focus on technique form and get down the basics of Olympic lifting, so when they advance to a 15kg or 20kg Olympic bar, they have a firm foundation and can handle the weight of a heavier bar. Nice barNice bar. Knurl is great. Sleeves great. No issues. But be forewarned it is made from aluminum and the knurls is easy to nick if you load this in a rack. I thought I could convince my wife to lift if I started her with a lightweight bar but so far that hasn t panned out. LOL
